SurveyJunkie Cashout Testimonial
By completing online surveys is easiest direction to earn extra cash while working from home waiting for class, or waiting for the bus, but is Survey Junkie worth your time? Let’s discuss, shall we?
Over the past two years, I’ve taken hundreds of online surveys from websites like Google Rewards and Swagbucks to make money online as a side hustle. Honestly, it can really add up if you stick with the plan.
What Is Survey Junkie and Is It Worth It?
You share your opinions to receive rewards on Survey Junkie which is an online survey platform. Each survey is worth a certain number of points, which can be redeemed for cash or gift cards. I tested out Survey Junkie to see how it compares to Life Point and Swagbucks. Below is some great information, read on…
1. Account Set-Up
It takes about 2 minutes to setup an account. SurveyJunkie.com asks for the personal information before you can create an account:
IP code
Country of residence
Date of birth
Gender
First name
Last name

After signing up, I started to fill out my profiles. Survey Junkie states that doing well on surveys will increase your chances of receiving more surveys with higher rewards. Because market research companies are looking for certain types of people to complete surveys.
These profile questions asked things if I owned a pet, what type of smartphone, where I shop for certain products or the time I watch TV.
For each profile that I finished, I gained number of points.
2. Completing Surveys
Shortly after answering those profile questions, Survey Junkie began to offer me paid survey chances. You notice a list for surveys available that is in you account dashboard. You will see the number of points and the time it takes to complete one. Example a 10 minute survey for 45 points. The minimum redemption amount $5.
The annoying part was answering several minutes of survey questions, then being disqualified. That happened a few times. But I pressed on…
As for the survey topics, Survey Junkie’s surveys are related to products and services that consumers purchase.

3. Getting Rewarded for Your Time
When you take surveys with Survey Junkie, 1 point is equal to $.01. So a survey with 100-point rewards will earn you $1. However must have $5 in your account (500 points) to cash out.

I chose to receive a cash payment via PayPal, but you can also have your rewards transferred to a bank account. Electronic gift cards are a third redemption option.
Small list of gift cards available:
Amazon
iTunes
Sephora
Starbucks
Walmart
Target
Groupon
You must give them a home address and phone number to cash out on the website. Basically, you need to verify you are who you say you are.
However, Survey Junkie’s system was not able to automatically confirm my identity, so I had to wait until the next business day for someone from the company to call me and manually do it.
I had a wait a few days for my transfer because my Survey Junkie email and my Paypal email did not coincide. It was an easy fix. I made them the same. So, make sure those email addresses are the same.
Although I was nervous for a bit that I would not get paid, I was able to cash out immediately after the fix.
Example:
Survey Junkie account email: youremail@yahoo.com and Paypal account email: youremail@yahoo.com
Last Words
After testing out Survey Junkie, I say that the online survey site is 100% legit and not a scam. But I also think this is a way for you to make more than a few dollars a day.
I’ve had a lot of success with Swagbucks, Pinecone Research and InboxDollars, MyPoints, which offers a variety of other ways to make money besides just completing surveys.
To give Survey Junkie a try, I suggest that you do exactly what I did. Sign up at SurveyJunkie.com, spend a few hours completing surveys. Then you can cash out as soon as you reach the minimum.
